The word Binary in the general sense refers to something made of or based on two things or parts: as perhaps a binary star or more pertinent to our usage, the binary number system. In mathematics and computer science, the binary number system represents a system of enumeration using only two digits, 0 and 1. In reference to Tom Campbell's usage, we then have the two states of reality cells as empty or perturbed, containing symbolically a 0 or a 1, fulfilling the requirements of a binary number system. Further and extensive details are readily obtainable elsewhere.
