Category talk:Acronyms and Terminology
I suggest a reordering with sub categories. Either that or some way to define the page with the over all viewpoint and lists to be designated as a clear entry point. If we go sub categories, the pages directly in the main category should be the Acronyms page as in IUOC as opposed to listing the explanatory page of Individuated Unit of Consciousness. The acronyms get lost in the expansions if one goes to the category and sees them all mixed together. An impressive job over all. --Ted Vollers 03:23, 23 June 2011 (CDT)
I see your point Ted. I moved AUM and AUO into this category and their expanded names into a sub category "Expanded Acronyms". The acronym pages already exist (created them last night) and simply redirect to the expanded pages, so we are in good shape there. I will get them all converted today throughout the day. Great idea.
Now, just want to make sure you saw this page: Acronyms_and_Terminology_Specific_to_My_Big_TOE. This is what I intended to be the actual entry point and reference for acronyms and terminology.
I spent about 4 hours on this table for it to be an intuitive entry point for the acronyms list. --David Mathis 08:07, 23 June 2011 (CDT) --David Mathis 07:57, 23 June 2011 (CDT)
Oki Dokie, worked like a madman at lunch and got the acronyms into this category (Category:Acronyms and Terminology) and moved the expanded acronyms into the Category:Expanded Acronyms category. Of course as I commented earlier the entry page for acronyms should be Acronyms_and_Terminology_Specific_to_My_Big_TOE on the community Portal, not this category, IMO. --David Mathis 13:34, 23 June 2011 (CDT)
