The trilogy of books presented by Tom Campbell as My Big TOE is actually a modern and much extended version, based upon the metaphors of science rather than mysticism or other thought systems, of what is clearly anciently referred to and also written about within recent publications. This page has the purpose to point out these parallels and to link to descriptions of a number of these other conceptions and descriptions which parallel the model of reality presented within My Big TOE and here on this Wiki. These pages are presently incomplete or unwritten at present and are being created by Ted Vollers.

The Buddha's Conception of Reality as Illusion
Only a simplistic statement can be made here but this is the basic sense of similarity believed to exist between Buddhist thought and the work of Tom Campbell. That is that our experience of this, our reality, amounts to Māyā or Illusion. This translates in Tom Campbell's concepts to the statement that our perception of here is that of a Virtual Reality and that it consists of a digital data stream created by the Larger Consciousness System which we subjectively interpret. The Concept of Reality Expressed by Robert Monroe
Robert Monroe in his book Ultimate Journey traveled to what he judged to be the limit of our reality (PMR) through which barrier two apertures penetrated. One was for the purpose of receiving our creations within our life times (entropy reduction, love) and the other which he called the Emitter which discharged the “energy beam” which creates our reality which he referred to as the dream. A clear reference equivalent to the digital data stream by which we experience and interact with the PMR VR over the RWW and collectively reduce the entropy of AUM. The link to this page follows.
The Concept of Reality Expressed by Carlos Castaneda Writing about Don Juan Matus
Carlos Castaneda In his book The Eagle's Gift described our reality as emanating from the Eagle, which is simply the metaphor used by Naguals or sorcerers such as Don Juan Matus of that lineage, for the source of the energy stream which creates our reality flowing from the Eagle behind a barrier out of one aperture and receiving the awareness of deceased humans back through another aperture to serve as the Eagles's food. Awareness (consciousness) is the gift of the Eagle and in return, we feed the Eagle (entropy reduction). Some who become aware can bypass this return to the Eagle and maintain their “flame of awareness”. In all, a clear metaphor equivalent to the digital data stream by which we experience and interact with the PMR VR over the RWW and collectively reduce the entropy of AUM.
