Reality Cells – Disambiguation
This page is about the Reality Cells of the Larger Consciousness System or LCS. It is not about the PMR Space/Time Reality Cells which Tom Campbell also describes in My Big TOE and which he describes in a greatly different way from the Reality Cells of Consciousness Space.
The Concept of Reality Cells as Fundamental to Consciousness Space
These Reality Cells are the basic reality cells as described in Tom Campbell's model of Reality. These are the base and fundamental building block of this concept of reality as Consciousness and specifically of the LCS as described as a Cellular Automaton. They are undefined as not being made of anything more fundamental than themselves as there is nothing more fundamental than they are. They are the fundamental building blocks of Reality as Consciousness Space and Consciousness. They are the fundamental containers of the data of the LCS which constitutes both the subject of Consciousness and the digital computer code, in effect, which manipulates that data and produces Consciousness. This is stipulated as being in the nature of the reality cells being either perturbed and thus containing data or unperturbed and not containing data. We thus have a digital yes/no representation that can be equated to the binary 1 and 0.

Reality Cells as Real Things, Not an Abstract Concept
These reality cells are a property of our Ultimate Reality, appearing and existing as needed to contain the data that makes up the LCS as it grows. Their number or non-physical extent is unbounded but not however said to be infinite. Infinity is a mathematical abstract of PMR while the reality cells are real, their existence as part of the Void and its Quickening have thus existed and appeared in the minds of mystics and metaphysicians for as long as we have unwritten records handed down before the advent of written records.
