Would it be more appropriate to use the term "Even Bigger Computer" rather than "The Big Computer"? TBC, as I understand it, is for our specific NPMR. The first NPMR would have likely had a TBC but not necessarily "our" TBC for our NPMR. I suggest EBC as it is the superset of TBC for all of AUM. --[[User:Michael Saganski|Michael Saganski]] 11:22, 12 August 2011 (CDT)

I don't think that the EBC exists at this point in the development of the LCS as Tom used the term.  Also, while I was prepared to say the things that I have in Tom's name as Tom's model, based upon discussions with him and his encouragement in terms of agreeing with my concepts so far in the past, I would really like Tom to make this first kind of change if he feels it to be needed.  This page discusses the very first trial and experiment with an NPMR and TBC as the first instance of such would have to be invented for the job.  It doesn't even have the full job that it will have when it runs a PMR type VR as there is no environment to project based upon probabilities.  The term, The Big Computer, is just there available for use as Tom never discussed a Communications Hub or Interface which is more the function of this instance of TBC.  Tom has never, as I understand it, discriminated between TBC as interacting with an NPMR VR as opposed to a PMR type VR although obviously there must be differences as I indicated.

Now if you don't find the above clear in your reading of this page, then something should be changed to clarify it.
