There is being created a page for specific aid to translators of all languages which parallels Tom Campbell's books, chapter for chapter in parallel with the format adopted for the various languages with translations being displayed here.  It might also be of value to native speakers in other languages who are not well familiar with American culture and speech, explaining cultural references used by Tom Campbell, particularly in humorous terms to lighten the tone of his books and as he stated, "keep the discussion and the average reader’s focus from dissolving into oblivion under the weight of page after page of ponderous material".  This is a real potential problem that Tom attempted to alleviate with frequent asides, as another point of view, and interjections of humor.  These do break the pace of 800 plus pages of what is really dense science, metaphysics and philosophy although not fortunately in 'formal' language and thus incomprehensible to the great majority of readers.  It is this 'look and feel' of the original that we wish to maintain as well as the subtleties of meaning that are there and can slip past if you do not read carefully or if there is a less than perfect translation.

This is a link page from which pages relating to translated My Big TOE materials can be accessed. This includes translations of the MBT books and voice overs, subtitles or videos are included as available. Eventually when materials are available, this will include voice only recordings from videos and reading from the various original and translated materials. This information is still being gathered and information from those managing these projects is requested so that those wishing to help and participate may do so and that potential users of the materials will know where to find it. As this process matures, additional aids for translators will be added to assist them in their work.

General Statement on Quality and Completeness of Translations

Tom Campbell intends to eventually and upon completion of a translation into a new language to establish the quality of that translation and create a contractual agreement with the translator(s) for publication. It is intended that these translations convey not just literal meanings, which can be misleading in translation, but also a true translation of meaning and spirit of the original. A true translation of meaning and not of just words. Unless specifically noted as having gone through this approval process by Tom Campbell and thus approved for final publication, all works provided by links on this page are to be considered as interim works in process, not in final and approved form, unless specifically so noted. This is a page provided with other pages for the convenience of Wiki readers and translators to make others aware of their work and to make it available for comment by readers as soon as possible in the translation process. Please keep this situation in mind clearly. We welcome comments by native speakers in each language on the Discussion pages and solicit aid for the translators and of course, translators for additional languages.

English

This will not be a page of translations but a link to transcribed Events and videos, extracted voice from Video presentations, possibly computer generated readings and other versions other than the original format available in English. This page is not yet available.

French

It is understood that work is underway on French translations but insufficient information is available to create a French Translation page.

German

Translation is not complete but here is a link to the German Translation page. This is just two long page as the posting has not been brought up to date with the latest plan for these translations as individual chapters per Wiki page. There may be problems with your browser because of the page length.

At present, 16 of Tom Campbell's videos have been translated into German and on the following link they are hosted with 'voice over' of these translations in German. They are hosted on the web site www.matrixwissen.de with a link to the page on which they are all available below.

Hungarian

Translation is not complete but here is a link to the Hungarian Translation page which is the most complete to date.

Portuguese

It is understood that work is underway on Portuguese translations but insufficient information is available to create a Portuguese Translation page.

Russian

Page was created on Feb 14, 2013 with information on translating MBT book and Double-slit experiment video.

Notes and Recommendations for Translators

Translation of difficult concepts into another language is a difficult undertaking. It is greatly appreciated as a means to spread the concepts developed by Tom Campbell to a wider audience in other countries besides English speaking countries. These concepts can be important world wide in modern society. The Notes and Recommendations page given here is not a matter of directions as to how to proceed with the actual translation process. It is rather suggestions for best efficiency to interface with the Wiki administration for display of the results on this Wiki and to produce an accurate, quality translation. Please look under the English subheading on this page for a page specific to Translators to aid in this work. If the translation is to be made available otherwise, that can also be arranged, as in linked from here, based upon the arrangement or agreement between the translator(s) and Tom Campbell.
